Etsy charges a commission fee of 5% on the sale price of an item, which includes the shipping costs, once the item is sold. Sellers may also choose to use Etsy's payment processing service, which charges a payment processing fee of 3% plus $0.25 per transaction.

Saatchi Art

Saatchi Art is an online art marketplace that connects artists with collectors and art enthusiasts from all around the world. The platform features a curated selection of works by emerging and established artists, including paintings, sculptures, and mixed media pieces.

Saatchi Art doesn't require monthly subscription fees, but they do charge a commission of 40% on each original artwork sold. For limited edition prints the commission charges increase to 50% of the sale price.

These charges are based on the profit earned from each sale, i.e., the final sale price minus production costs. However, the commission still applies to the sale price, which means that the artist will receive 60% of the reduced amount if a painting is sold at a discounted price.

eBay
