Uvodo Pay - accept payments worldwide

Uvodo Pay is a payment processing system that allows you to accept payments in more than 135 countries through Sell via Link.

Sell via Link, aka payment link is one of the sales channels of Uvodo. With the Sell via Link, you can generate a quick payment link for products or services, share it on chat, social media, email, and accept payment.

To create a payment link to accept payments:

1. On your Uvodo admin panel navigate to "Sell via Link" sales channel

2. Click on the "create a link" button

3. Select product or service option, and add item details

Done! You can share the link anywhere, to sell via WhatsApp, SMS, email, or place the link on your social media to get paid.

Uvodo Card

Uvodo Card is a virtual Visa card that allows you to spend your earnings anywhere that Visa cards are accepted.

When you accept payments for your products or services, the funds are loaded instantly in your Uvodo Wallet. And, you can spend the available balance with Uvodo Card.

How are the payments processed?

To accept the payments through Sell via Link, you don’t need to set up or configure a payment gateway. Uvodo Pay is built-into the platform and default payment gateway for the quick payment links.

Once you share the payment link and accept the payment, the transactions appear on your Uvodo Wallet in the admin panel.

The cool thing about Uvodo Pay is that you can spend your available funds directly with a virtual Uvodo Card.

Cash on Delivery (COD)

Whether it’s being commission free or easy to sell locally where payment gateways are limited, manual payments are an optimal solution for small businesses.

Cash on Delivery is one of the manual payment methods in which customers pay for goods at the time of delivery. For example, customers place an order on an online store. The customer chooses cash on delivery as a payment method and proceeds with payment. Once the order is delivered, the customer pays the cash according to the invoice.

At Uvodo, Cash on Delivery comes as a built-in manual payment method.

The payment status for Cash on Delivery orders is manually set in the Uvodo admin panel.

When an order is initially placed, the payment status is automatically set to "Pending." As the order progresses, and the item is successfully delivered, you can update the payment status to "Paid."

The shipping status of the order with Cash on Delivery follows a parallel process. Upon successful delivery of the item, when you set the payment status for COD to "Paid", the shipping status is automatically updated to "Delivered."

Third-party payment gateways

When sellers sell from an online store with Uvodo, they don’t need to integrate payment gateways. All the payment methods come within the admin panel. Sellers just need to enable and configure it by entering their secret (private) and public keys.

By providing built-in third party payment gateways, Uvodo helps businesses to accept payments online from their local and markets.

Third-party payment providers are companies that provide payment services to eCommerce stores. They help eCommerce merchants process payments and provide them with the necessary infrastructure for accepting online payments.

Uvodo includes built-in leading global and location specific payment gateways for online stores.

Though Uvodo doesn’t take transaction fees for using these third party payment gateways, you should review their individual pricing structures.

Currently, we have PayPal, Stripe, and the following payment gateways for sellers from specific regions:

• Africa: Flutterwave, Paystack, Yoco

• Europe: Vipps, Nets Easy, Mollie

• Latin America: Mercado Pago

• Asia: Razorpay, Mamo
